Sunday, up on the topsWhy Huddersfield
Every route out of town goes up, which is terrible news for about six weeks and then quietly becomes the reason you get faster than your flat-town mates. Sunday's fell group takes it further: moor tracks, trig points and the kind of views that make you forgive the bogs.
Prefer tarmac? The road groups exist, thrive and stay drier.
What it costs
No joining fee, no contract, no kit police. Try us free for a month, then it is less than a coffee a fortnight.
Turn up to any session and run with us for a month before paying a penny. No forms until you are sure.
Every session, every week, coach-led training blocks, club championships and the relay squads. Works out at 75p a week.
Optional add-on: race licence discounts (usually £2 off every road race entry) and eligibility for county championships.
