The fast wall. Names fade, times do not.

Every record below hangs on the pavilion wall in Dave's best laminating. They stand until somebody at a club race takes them down, and half the fun of a Tuesday is watching someone decide to try.

Records are claimed from any licensed race or, for the Wessenden Round, a witnessed club attempt. Age category records live in the pavilion because the table got too big for the internet.

The coaching team

The people behind the times.

Sandra Ogun

Head coach, endurance

Twenty years of marathon coaching and a spreadsheet for everything. Sets the winter blocks that quietly turn 25 minute 5k runners into 21 minute ones.

Pete Marsden

Fell captain

Holds the club Wessenden record and the unofficial record for most enthusiastic weather warnings ignored. Leads the Sunday fell group.

Lucy Hartshorn

Beginners lead

Runs the Zero to Viaduct course twice a year and remembers every single graduate's name. Most people's first face at the club.

Dave Broadbent

Chair, kit cupboard keeper

Joined in 1996, has marshalled in every weather Yorkshire owns, and guards the vest stock like it is bullion. Ask him about the 2011 relay.

Fancy your name on the wall?
